Monthly Dance at The Calgary Unitarians
Dance Church at The Calgary Unitarians 12:30-2:30PM
Monthly Community dance to follow the service at the Calgary Unitarians with “Dance Church”. We will move and groove using the theme of the service (“Worship”) offered that day. Using Core Connexion Transformational Arts® Principles we will delve into the somatic world and explore the theme with ourselves, eachother and the bigger community. Sounds like an amazing way to experience “Church”
Feel free to join for worship form 10 to 11:30 or just come for the dance.
Items to have with you:
Wear layered clothing you can move easily in (jeans can be a bit tricky to move in)
Water to drink
Snack before if needed.
Indoor shoes or barefoot whatever is most comofortable for you. The floor isn’t a dance floor so if you have sensitive feet or are unsure please where shoes. (We ask that they are indoor shoes as we will clean the floor so we can lie down and sit on the floor.)
A blanket or cushion to sit on if needed, or anything else you need to keep your body comfortable.
